Locals invited to view QAR
The North Carolina Maritime Museum in Beaufort hosts a “Locals’ Reception” for the new “Blackbeard’s Queen Anne’s Revenge” Exhibit on Friday, Sept. 16.
The exhibit opened this past June, and brought record-breaking crowds into the Museum. Now that the peak tourism season is slowing down, the Museum invites Eastern North Carolina residents to experience the exhibit after hours, from 5 – 7 p.m.
Museum experts will offer interpretation of the history and artifacts, and light refreshments will be served. The event is free.
